About Shari
Shari Biery is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, speaker, and author of It’s Your Turn.
She helps midlife women reconnect with themselves after years of putting everyone else first.
Through her C.A.L.M. Method™, Shari guides women to understand their changing bodies, recognize the patterns shaping how they’ve been living, and create supportive rhythms that fit who they are now so they can create space for new passions, purpose, and possibilities.
Before becoming a coach, Shari worked in healthcare as a respiratory therapist while navigating the constant transitions of military life, supporting her husband’s career and raising their family. Those experiences shape how she shows up today with compassion, clarity, and a deep understanding of the real lives people are living.Â
Shari's Story
I Know What It Feels Like to Lose Yourself
If you've spent years showing up for everyone else, you may have reached a point where you barely recognize yourself anymore.
Your body feels different.
What used to work no longer does.
And somewhere along the way, you stopped making yourself part of the equation.
I understand that feeling because I've lived it too.
After years of supporting my husband's military career, raising our family, and navigating constant transitions, I found myself exhausted, disconnected, and unsure of who I was anymore.
From the outside, everything looked fine.
Inside, I knew something needed to change.
The Moment That Changed Everything
It happened at my husband’s Navy retirement ceremony.
After twenty years of service, he stood in front of a room filled with colleagues, friends, and family as they honored his career and our family’s years of supporting the mission.
Then he walked over and placed the folded American flag into my hands.
He looked at me and said quietly,
"I love you. And now it’s your turn."
In that moment, something inside me finally exhaled.
It felt like the first deep breath I had taken in years.
For so long, I had been focused on everyone else’s path forward, their schedules, their needs, and their next chapter.
Standing there, holding that flag, I realized something I hadn’t allowed myself to see.
My next chapter mattered too.
That moment became the beginning of my journey back to myself and the realization that there was still so much more possible for me.
Searching For A Way Forward
I began searching for answers.
How to prioritize myself without guilt.
How to create a life that felt meaningful again.
How to care for my body and well-being in this stage of life.
Working with a health and wellness coach changed everything.
For the first time, I experienced what it felt like to be supported, heard, and guided through real change.
That experience eventually led me to become a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach.
What began as my own search for answers became something more.
Today, I help midlife women reconnect with themselves, understand their changing bodies, and create supportive rhythms that fit who they are now and who they are becoming.
Because when women come back to themselves and honor their own rhythms, they create space for new passions, purpose, and possibilities.
My mission is to help women stop living outside of themselves and start building a life that includes them.
The C.A.L.M. Method™Â
Â
When I began coaching midlife women, I noticed a pattern.
What used to work no longer did, but they kept pushing harder.
Midlife doesn’t require more pressure.
It requires a different approach.
That’s why I developed the C.A.L.M. Method™, a simple 4-step framework for midlife wellness that helps you understand your body, recognize the patterns shaping how you feel, and create supportive rhythms that fit real life.
This method also became the foundation of my book, It’s Your Turn.
C – Clarity:  Get clear on who you are and what matters now
A – Awareness:  Recognize the patterns shaping your energy and choices
L – Learning:  Listen to your body and build supportive habits
M – Mindset: Strengthen thoughts that help you move forward with confidence
This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about reconnecting with yourself through support, structure, and self-trust.
Helping Audiences Take Their Turn
In addition to coaching midlife women, I bring this work into organizations and events through keynote talks and workshops.
I speak to women’s groups, professional organizations, and mixed audiences about the impact of sustained pressure, constant responsibility, and the patterns that keep people running on empty.
Through keynote talks and workshops, I help audiences understand what's driving exhaustion so they can think clearly, make intentional decisions, and stop running on empty.
This work is grounded, practical, and designed to give people simple tools they can use immediately to improve focus, strengthen decision-making, and navigate life's demands with greater clarity and intention.Â
